Nice comments about the Spitfire Neil. It has always been a good fun event and as hosts we try to make sure it remains that way. I thought some of the rugby on show this season was excellent and the Ashford lads made a terrific contribution to that. Folkestone had played Ashford the week before and won 40-0 but before the tournament started I did warn our players that your lads would want revenge for that and they so nearly got it. The Ashford boys were good losers and I hope you found that the Stones were good winners. All in all it was a grand day for local rugby and that's why I was disappointed at the comments on your website and I felt I had to put the record straight.

Nice to see local interaction on the guestbook I thought it was a fun event,pre season kind of get together anyway,or am I missing the point?I thought FRFC looked great ,rugby was good and spirits were high.Isn`t that what its all about?

Totally agree with you walshi!! also worth having a look at the folkestone report who were very complimentary about our performance saying they expect us to get promoted this year etc!!  i thought it was a superb performance from everyone there, and i have to say Louis Stimpson and Ben Knight were amazing all day!!  I think it bodes well for the season ahead!!!
