Tackling and uncontested (no pushing) 3-man scrums, are introduced at this age, along with uncontested 2-man line outs. Players’ numbers rise to 9 per team. This is where the players start to feel like they are playing rugby.
It is surprising how many players begin to get more confidence not just playing rugby but in general. Coach this year is Vicky Jordan and will be assisted by our co-ordinator Steve Kellam.
